Job Summary:
The Accountant will prepare financial reports to track the organizations assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liabilities, and other related financial activities

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and examine financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  • Manage all accounting transactions, including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries.
  • Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
  • Prepare and publish timely financial statements and reports.
  • Conduct month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
  • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
  • Assist with tax audits and tax returns.
  • Liaise with internal and external auditors and manage audits.
  • Provide financial analysis and forecasting to support business decisions.

    Job Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
    • Minimum of five years of proven experience as an Accountant.
    • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
    • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
